    Description

British Army Rev. War. - Early 19th Century White GR Reproduction Blanket.
Can be used for Rev War, War of 1812, Napoleonic conflicts. This a 100% wool blanket that is striped in blue on both ends.  These are very nice blankets that I resource and are brand names. This is an Ayer's Waverley Pure Wool Canadian blanket..They are all block stamped with GR. No two are the same. This is an affordable reproduction. It Measures 83"X73"". This is a medium weight soft blanket. Good for summer camping. It came with a few small holes in which I stitched up. And some  pinkish stains. Great to use in the surgeon's tent. I washed it 3 times. This was based on an example of a British soldiers' blanket that was left behind in Boston circa 1775-1776.Now located in Lexington, MA, Also I would like to thank Mr. Robert G.Stone for all of his great research that he did on several British 18th and 19th century's. blankets. IF you can find one of his blankets it is worth every penny.
