THIS is a Gilbert American Flyer HO Scale #30740 “The North Star” Freight Train Set in its Original Box! What a great addition to your collection! Very nice! This set is more for the collector than the runner. This is a rare set because it originaally came with a Texas & Pacific Gondola that as collectors know always broke in the middle. So in place of the Texas & Pacific Gondola, the Southern Pacific Gondola has been added.

#31037 Minneapolis & St. Louis Engine – 8 wheel, gear-drive diesel with pull-mor power, bench tested, runs and lights,sometimes stops running so it will need service to run on the track, good lettering, all intact
#33546 Jet Engine Transport Load on Illinois Central Flat Car – all intact, good lettering, minor playwear, jet engine cannister is missing tabs
#104149 Southern Pacific Gondola – all intact, good lettering, good condition.
#33623 M & S & L Bay Window Caboose – good condition, catwalk intact, steps present, lettering faded

The Train Set comes in its Original Box and printed insert in fair to good condition, good lettering, is solid and usable, some wear, insert has some rips. HO Scale is a good choice if you have a limited space for a layout. Cars all have couplers. Look
