Handmade Bamboo Tinder Box with Hardwood Caps and Hand forged Staple

Description

Handcrafted Bamboo Tinder Box.  Made from Bamboo with Hardwood end caps.  The caps have hand forged staples with decorative twist.  The end Caps are hand turned on the lathe and then the staple is added.  The cap will be wrapped with a waxed linen thread to help waterproof.  Both Caps are removable.  Case come empty. The case is approximately 5 1/4 inches long and 2 inches wide and weight approximately 4 to 5  ounces empty.  The box can be attached to a wang or put in knapsack. Can be used to hold anything, not just tender and flint and steel.  The finish is Boiled Linseed oil and paste wax.
