This kit contains what you need to make both sizes of woodturning tool and includes the sharpening block. Everything you need is included except the handles. Simply make the handles you want to complete your tools. This set is finished in black oxide for rust resistance.
The tool body is 4140 chrome-moly steel measuring 6 1/2" long from the handle with a 2" tang for the small tool and 9" long from the handle with 3" tang for the standard tool. The main body is a 3/8" hex for the small and 1/2" hex for the standard. The cutting bits are cobalt steel. These will cut like a laser. This kits includes the tool bodies, Allen screws, Allen wrenches, cutting bits, magnets for holding the wrench in the handle (if you chose to do so), high strength epoxy and mixing sticks and instructions and guidelines about how to make your handles and attach them to the body, and some pointers on how to use the tools. You also get the sharpening block to keep your bits sharp and to reshape them.  If you’d like to review the instructions before you buy just send a message with your email and I’ll send the .PDF files.
These tools should also work with any metal handle system that accepts 5/16 and 7/16 diameter tool tangs. The tangs are shown in the photos to each side.
