    Description

This listing is for a 1685, Reproduction Dutch Silver Plated Brass Wedding or Marriage Box made for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1985, Europe.
Very Nice Engraved scenes on all 6 sides & also on lid, hands holding. I like the Gold washed inside the Box. Silver is in very good condition.
Styled after original 17th C. (Box circa 1685).
This is nice to use at both 17th & 18th Century re-enacting to store small sewing, buttons or little things. Place on table to give that touch of an era or charm.  Lighting bad in these old houses. Photo 4 gives a small brief on Dutch Box.
