Vintage Bachmann HO Tornado 5Pc Freight Train Set, Running, Worn OB.  Condition is "Used", purchasing As-Is. This set appears minimally used.  The OB was not intended for shipping and is torn in parts. Both the top and bottom will be folded for shipping and all pieces more securely cushioned for shipping in smaller box. If you don't want the box, shipping costs may be reduced further. Please do not pay before a decision is made to NOT INCLUDE the box. The shipping weight shown includes the folded box and original components. The original brand #00502 indicates Diesel Locomotive with operating headlight and 4 cars. The Santa Fe Diesel Locomotive was removed from the box and placed on a small test track. Initially, the headlight came on and an attempt at movement was noticed. Moved the unit back & forth a bit to see if better electrical contact with wheels would occur. The unit bagan moving in both directions, with gradually increasing speed. This set may have been closeted away for a considerable number of years, not being used. The engine will need thorough cleaning inside and the wheel surfaces. Proper lubrication is recommended before sustained usage. The box label indicates additional accessories, layout parts etc,  but most  are not likely complete.  Please do not bid on this listing if you are unprepared to give this equipment the cleaning & lubrication attention needed.
